The Teal Pumpkin Project™
A fun alternative to a candy laden Halloween while helping others- join FARE’s Teal Pumpkin Project™ to help create a safer, happier Halloween!
The Teal Pumpkin Project™ was launched as a national campaign by Food Allergy Research and Education (FARE) Research in 2014. It raises awareness of food allergies and promotes inclusion of all trick-or-treaters throughout the Halloween season.
Last year, households from 50 states and 7 countries participated in the Teal Pumpkin Project™. This year, you can be part of an even bigger movement by joining 100,000 households pledging to participate in the Teal Pumpkin Project.
To get involved all you have to do to is paint a pumpkin teal and place in front of your home, And place a sign on your door to indicate you have non-food treats available.
This will really help kids with food allergies feel like they are being included and at the same time help kids have a positively wonderful Halloween! For more information, click here.
