Chere on Kare 11: Flu Fighters in Your Kitchen

Winter means it’s cold and flu season, but don’t let it happen to you! While the CDC estimates over 1 billion cold and flu episodes will happen each year, you can use food to fight it. I talked with Kare 11 News and told them to add these to their shopping list:

2. Eggs (whole and egg salad on whole grain bread)

3. Cherries

4. Tea

5. Chicken noodle soup

6. Water
