Super Bowl Quesadilla Bar – Perfect Food Fest for Your Party
Super Bowl Sunday is just like another holiday and one more “blow it all” high calorie food fest with friends and family. It seems people focus more on the food than the sport. If you want to serve something easy, quick and healthy give these Quesadillas a try. This recipe will save you time and energy in the kitchen as everyone makes their own at your Quesadilla Bar.
The bonus …you will not have to spend hours in the gym after the big game day burning off the extra calories you consumed.
Quesadillas
- 1 pound lean ground turkey or beef, cooked
- 1 pkg Taco Seasoning
Prepare turkey or beef with taco seasoning according to Taco seasoning package directions.
You can also sauté chicken strips and season with cumin. If you have a large crowd I would recommend serving both.

Have toppings for your guests to make their own quesadilla.
Ideas include: Guacamole or Avocadoes (love Hass the best), Salsa, black beans, refried beans, cilantro, cheese, sour cream, diced tomatoes, black olives.
Don’t forget the tortillas. Have corn tortillas on hand for people sensitive to wheat.

Guests can make their quesadillas in a skillet on the stove or a George Foreman Grill like we used here.
