Where is Chere Speaking?


People that study the Law of Attraction talk about their Vibrational Bubble. You have a bubble surrounding you that is either a positive vibration or a negative vibration. The Law of Attraction responds to whatever is inside your Vibrational Bubble. Raise your positive vibration or lower it with your limiting beliefs. Check out your self talk. These five words give energy to what you don’t want. Take these five words out of your vocabulary to increase your positive vibration. Remove these words and you will attract what you want. Get going!

  1. NO “No way would I ever get that.”
  2. DON'T “I don’t ever win prizes or the lottery.”
  3. NOT “I am not going to get that promotion I just know it!”
  4. BUT “I would like to attend but I have lots to do…but is the word of a “procrastinator doubter”
  5. BECAUSE “I don’t have time for me because everyone needs me.”

Ask yourself: Hey, wonderful magnificent human being…What do I want???

"Here are three of my 'lucky' life experiences ( I could do more, but 3 seems like a good number).

1. I got laid off from the first job I ever had out of college — at the time I didn't think I was lucky, I was devastated. But looking back, I'm glad I got laid off — I was only working at 80% capacity and overnights as well, I ended up with a much better job (and career down the road) than I would have had if I had stayed working there.

2. I (still) work for Medtronic. I've always wanted to work here and it took me applying and interviewing 3 separate times over a period of 5 years to get hired, but my persistence paid off. Plus, I survived the last round of layoffs that just occurred.

3. Friday the 13th is a good day for me. I was born on the 13th (of November) and consider it a lucky for me. I look forward to my next Friday the 13th birthday (in 2009)."

When you think of summer you think of fruit and grilling, what a perfect combo to grill some fruit for you summertime dessert. Grilling fruit is an easy, fun way to get your recommended 2 1/2 cups of fruit a day.

Hard fruits like apples, pears and pineapple are the easiest, as they hold their shape and texture while cooking. Softer fruits like peaches, nectarines, plums and mangoes become really soft if overcooked. You need to pay closer attention to these.

Gary seemed to like this recipe the best of the many variations I tried.

Peaches (Gary’s favorite fruit) cut in half and with the pit removed
Place honey in the hollow of the peach
Brown sugar or cinnamon
Lime sherbet
Mint sprigs

Spray your grill with vegetable oil spray. Place the peaches directly on a medium grill with a clean grate. Grill for about 7 minutes on the skin side and 2 minutes on the open side, or until slightly charred. Sprinkle with brown sugar or cinnamon or cinnamon and sugar if desired. Serve with a scoop of your favorite sherbet.

Serve with poached salmon (yes to eating salmon two times a week for omega-3 fatty acids), roasted green beans and carrots, and warm conversation.


Last month I wrote about how you need to allow the luck to happen to make your dreams come true. You need to change your thoughts to BELIEVE you can have it and you will receive it. Simple. Not kidding!

You need to script out what you want like “I am excited about having _________!!

Script it out in a way that the feels sincere and magical. It doesn’t matter if it is realistic if it brings a smile to your face and heart. I have visualized the phone ringing for a talk and it rang. As long as what you want brings a positive emotion and positive vibration.

Every emotion and every mood sends out a positive or negative vibration. The Law of Attraction responds to whatever vibration you are sending out by giving you more of it — positive or negative. It just responds to your vibration.

The key to allowing it to happen is to remove all doubt. Doubt holds a negative vibration. If you want something, it is a positive vibration, and doubt is a negative vibration. It cancels it out. Allowing is the absence of doubt.

The strongest vibration you can imagine is that of gratitude and appreciation. Appreciation is like the band aid in your first aid kit of attraction. Your gratitude and appreciation for people and stuff raises your energy level and vibration level.

“P” has been a coaching client for about a year. She is manifesting her dream. In one year she has gotten healthy and lost weight, gotten a new job, a new home, a second new lake home that she is really excited about. She has let go of doubt and fear and is appreciating life. She writes:

Ironically Chere asked me to write to her about “appreciation and gratitude”. I sat down to write and jotted down, “attitude and gratitude”. That is so true; our attitude leads us to feel gratitude, or allows the positives surrounding our lives to go unnoticed. Attitude and gratitude go hand in hand. It is how you look at it. As I sit here at my desk, my pen begins to flow with so many wonderful things that are happening in my life right now that I cannot stop the words.

Several years ago my co-worker nicknamed me Pollyanna. Until then I had not realized how I differed in my “always looking on the bright side” attitude. Sure I have been dealt my share of tragedies and periodically go through my “trauma and drama”, but I always take it in and chose to move forward in a positive direction. I truly live with an “in the moment” mentality. Today is a present you give yourself.

In working with Chere over the past year, I have learned to focus on taking care of myself and surrounding myself with others who have a positive impact in my life. I have done a lot of self-reflecting and re-evaluated what I want out of my life. It is a choice I make for myself. I have made several positive changes in my life. I took a new position at work where I not only have a better salary, a rewarding and challenging career, but learn to appreciate all the little things in life. I work at Children’s Hospital in the cancer clinic. It is very inspiring, everyday; I feel useful, valued and that I do make a difference in the lives of the children and their families.

Chere challenged me to take 15 minutes a day as time for myself. I finished reading a novel last night. I would not have thought that I would ever have time to read. I did stay up a bit late on a few nights….

I was tired of complaining about how out of shape I had become. I joined Jazzercise, have lost 16 pounds over the past few months and am within 5 pounds of my goal weight. I feel great about myself and get energized when I exercise even though my mentality is that I hate to exercise! I do it for myself because I know how good it makes me feel and look. Last month I went to New Orleans for the International Jazzercise Convention with a friend who I have reconnected with after 20 years. Relationships, even just one, have a huge impact in our lives.

My three (young adult) daughters mean more to me than anything in the world and they know in their hearts that I would do anything for them. I used to tell them that I could buy them new clothes for $1,000, buy a car for $10,000, but they were priceless to me. My motto has been, the light will be on and the door unlocked. I always want my family to feel welcome in my home.

My 21 year old daughter chose to only visit a handful of times for over two years. Last winter she left her abusive husband and moved in with me along with her newborn baby girl. My daughter will be starting graduate school this month so she plans to live with me for several years. I am so lucky to be a part of both my daughter and granddaughter’s lives every day. I come home from work and the baby smiles at me with her entire body. She just got her first tooth this week and I actually cried when I felt it in her gums.

My daughter and I joined a church together. She had not attended church since she was a child. What a joy it is to get up on Sunday morning and attend the service with my daughter and granddaughter! I have so much to be thankful for!

In less than two weeks I will be buying a beautiful lake home. The day that we toured the house there was literally a double rainbow in the sky. Now if that was not a sign??? The house will be filled with lots of family, friends, joy and laughter. I look forward to many wonderful memories with my daughters, especially sitting at the kitchen table overlooking the lake and talking for hours, hearing the waves against the shore, smelling chocolate cookies baking in the oven.

Every day I train my mind to focus on the good. I don’t allow myself to get caught up in a negative attitude. Even my kids have a part of reminding me. It is so easy to start spiraling down the drain, but if you stop, step back and realize that you are heading in the negative direction, you can distract yourself and pull yourself right back up. It does take a conscious effort, but with practice you can and will turn yourself in the positive direction you want to take and continue down that path. —Pollyanna
