Ice cream is the perfect treat or dessert for any occasion. It’s easy to serve and there are endless flavors and combination of toppings. My favorite is a soy-based vanilla ice cream with fresh blueberries and coconut flakes! @kmorenord

Cool and sweet, ice cream is a must-have for the summer. Whenever possible, I try to make a special trip to a local ice cream shop for a treat instead of simply keeping ice cream stocked in the freezer. This helps with portion control, but also means supporting local businesses. And, when traveling, searching for the best ice cream in the city is a must! @gowinnutrition

I worked at 3 different ice cream shops during my teenage years because I’m a super fan of ice cream.

Every year, for my birthday, my Mom makes me a 2-layer ice cream cake with 2 different flavors of ice cream separated by a brown sugar rice krispies crust and topped with more Rice Krispies, chocolate syrup, and caramel sauce. Absolutely divine with every bite.@sarahkoszykRD

I love the cold and creamy, but dairy ice cream doesn’t sit well with me…. SO I love whipping up a frozen banana in a blender alongside 1/3 cup of soaked cashews, 1-2 dates chopped, a sprinkle of maple syrup, a touch of vanilla and a bit of almond milk if necessary.  I’ve even been known to toss in some kale for a fabulous green “ice cream”!  Summer just isn’t summer without it! @marypurdyhere

A double cone at Stewart’s Shops is ALWAYS at the top of my summer to-do list.  Offering a bevy of seasonal flavors and classic favorites, you can’t beat the creaminess – or the price!  Down here on Long Island, it’s all about the cream ices at Ralph’s Famous.  Either way, I savor every bite! @NRodriguezRDN

Mmmmm….ice cream. So cool and refreshing in the summer. Due to a dairy sensitivity, I have fallen in love with banana ice cream. Simply freeze bananas that are getting too ripe and once frozen, throw 1 frozen banana per serving into a food processor. Add a Tablespoon of peanut butter when processing and you end up with a creamy mixture of banana peanut butter ice cream. @NaomiMayRDN

Ice cream, Helado (which is ice cream in Spanish), Gelato – it’s all good. Creamy smoothness, soothing coldness. Yum. The secret is how to enjoy just the right amount – a perfect food for mindful eating.   @diabetesgeek

Coconut ice cream is my favorite flavor and I enjoy this recipe best because it reminds me of the ice cream I ate in my childhood and every time I return to my home town, San Germán, Puerto Rico. My favorite recipe is totally vegan; dairy free, gluten free and egg free, but so creamy and delicious! https://twitter.com/digtheisland

We can’t wait to hear what ice cream you enjoy.
