Three Risks Everyone Needs
A purpose or passion: I was coaching a client today and asked, “What are you passionate about?” She replied, ‘I don’t have a passion I have obligations and I enjoy most of them.” Sounds hard to me! A life of passion is full and purposeful. Your purpose is your destination. You know what you want and you are creating that. Opportunities abound in your life. Others want to be around you and you are attracting abundance.
- Ask yourself: What am I passionate about? If that is too hard to answer…
- Ask yourself: Who do I admire and what are they qualities that I admire in them?
Failure: February 13, 2013 at 3 pm I will be celebrating my ten year anniversary of being fired. I thought “Who would fire Chere
Bork?” Now I know the best things in life came after I failed. Winston Churchill says, “Success is the ability to go from failure to failure without losing enthusiasm.” Remember failure is the first stage of success.
- Ask yourself: What am I afraid of failing at and am I going to take the risk and do it anyway?
Great relationships:Most of my clients come wanting deeper relationships and more friends. The most important relationship is the one you have with yourself. At the end of the day do you like yourself? Do you know yourself? It takes reflection time and solitude away from the “busy.” Journaling, gratitude journals, abundance journals are great to slow you down and capture what is your true essence.
- Ask yourself: What are my gifts and strengths and how am I using them in the world to make a difference?
Life is either a daring adventure or a boring nap. What does taking risks mean to you?

I have saved your newsletters forever thinking I want to read them when I get time. Today I read about taking risks. Congratulations on going for the surgery. I am so happy to hear of your success!
You affirmed for me that the risks I take are worth it, even when they fail. One of these times, I will hit the jackpot, but in the meantime, I am living to the fullest that I can. Thanks for all you do, Chere! I have said that to a number of people that the pink slip might be the best thing that ever happened to you. In your case, that was certainly true!
Love,
Karen
